Well hello there, we are Rag&Bow: The Roaming Vintage Store™ seller of quality, affordable 1950’s-1990’s women’s clothing & accessories. Our pieces are hand selected with a salute to the trends but it's important to us that some will hopefully set them.

Launched in 2009 we have already captured the imagination of fashion’s most concious followers including, Susie ‘Style Bubble’ & Florence Welch. We are the originators of the vintage home shopping service, cementing our aim to constantly bring you unique vintage experiences.

Hazel Holtham, London College of Fashion graduate, self-confessed street style junkie and fashion obsessive founded us. She wanted to create a new but accessible way to shop vintage. How, you say? Like Tom Cruise in Top Gun we prefer a maverick approach (see what we did there). With no permanent shop we are free us to host innovative events and pop-up shops. We do love a collaboration and have worked with conceptual brands which include On|Off, Channel 4, Tate & Supermarket Sarah.

Our founder honed her fashion credentials working at The Independent newspaper and various Emap and IPC fashion titles. As Hazel attended and dissected catwalk shows early on in her career, she is now expert in translating and forecasting future trends.

Hazel then went on to work in international music television & artist management. Her acclaimed back catalogue includes work with Sony, Polydor, The Brits and 19 Entertainment. She has also produced documentaries such as Don Letts:Punk Attitude and was Personal Manager to The Prodigy front man, Keith ‘firestarter’ Flint.

Hazel's innate personal style (recently captured by Facehunter photographer Yvan Rodic) continued on throughout her time in the music industry. After receiving numerous styling requests from bands and artists she decided to take on a new challenge. This is when the company whose website you are now reading (thanks) was born.  Hazel is influenced daily by everything from art to architecture. Her biggest inspiration comes from outfits worn by individuals that really matter..we mean you! In fact it was Hazel's admiration of her mother’s immaculate style and vintage collection that got us here in the first place. Take a look on the homepage and see if you can spot her, as well other Holthams. Think of it as fashion’s answer to Where’s Wally, enjoy!
